1. Exterior design and finishes. Doesn't feature a thin body, 18mm thick at the camera lens and just over 13.9 mm in the rest of the perimeter; it's 169 grames weight; solid and tough polycarbonate body with removabable back. 4-inch display protected by Gorilla Glass and qHD resolution. The Nokia 808 PureView's body fits perfectly in the hand, and it's comfortable to hold.
2. Battery Life. at least one whole journey. There's no app to control the % remaining energy.
3.1 Operating System and apps: up to 6 home screens to add widgets and shortcuts; application menu with free organization of the icons and list view. Multitasking menu, notifications window, 4 sound modes with wide customization and manual setting of the display brightness (50% is enough). Symbian Belle is good but not enough in terms of apps quality.
3.2 Nokia Maps Suite: the Nokia 808 PureView, through the 4-inch screen, will deliver great experience in navigation and GPS functionallity. Free european and local maps downloadable by Wi-Fi: we will save data, specially in roaming, although we will need 3G connectivity to take advantage of extra services included with Nokia Maps.
4. Music Playback: good audio quality. We have 5 mode presests thanks to the equalizer, and Dolby Headphone sound mode, not specially recommended for mp3 playback. We can edit and create playlists, and copy-paste files/folders from the PC/MAC with no additional software. If we own a device with DLNA technology, it's possible to wirelessly play the music storaged in the phone. I recommend Urbanears Plattan headphones with this Nokia 808 PureView.
5. DivX/MP4 video playback: the images appears sharp and the sequences run smooth. The video app in the Nokia 808 PureView only have the disadvantage of not having the possibility to choose the language in multichannel files, or activate subtitles. But, we get extra bass from Dolby sound tecnology.
6. Data Plan Services Performance: email, Symbian still lacks when replying messages with attachments; I recommend Opera Mobile web explorer to improve experience; in Social Networking, Facebook needs to get an app from facebook.com, Twitter works pretty well with "Social" app; we can share 3G data plan with Joiku Lite (we have to pay with the FULL features app). Good performance with portrait QWERTY and downloadable Swype system, and also very satisfied with the alphanumeric pad. Instant messaging works well, and we can use the alphanumeric and QWERTY-swype keypad.
7. Photography. Excellent software to manage the camera options, with 3 camera modes: 3 possible configurations in the "Creative" mode. 34MP in the 4:3 image ratio, 38MP in the 16:9 ratio; and only 8MP in PureView configuration, if we want to take advantage of the lossless zoom (with no pixilation and with sharp details). To get "macro" pictures it will be necessary to enter to "Creative-PureView" mode, and zoom at a distance not less than 30cm. The photo resolucions are: 38MP, 7152×5368; 34MP, 7728×4354, and at 8MP, 3264x2448.

8. Video-Recording. the device can replace a compact digital camera, and videocamera as well. Smoth FULL HD sequences at 15/24/25 fps, and also 3 camera modes that include lossless zoom. 1 minute recording needs around 150MB space. Check the next sample video:
9.Connectivity: Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and DLNA. DLNA app didn''t recognized my DLNA devices, but my devices could play my music, videos and photographies stored in the Nokia 808 PureView.(Weird). The device brings HDMI out, to sync with A/V receivers and FULL HD televisions: by cable, the phone become a remote control together with "Big Screen" app. The USB is compatible with USB mass storage mode. We will able to share content over Bluetooth unlike IOS.
10. Storage: 14GB internal memory available to fill with our digital data. We can use micro SD cards up to 48GB. To store music, photos, documents or videos we only have to plug the USB cable in the PC/Mac and activate the "USB mass storage mode" (simply drag and drop).
